A few not-so-random thoughts about the war against Iran

I’ve been wondering why Trump hasn’t ended the war. I mean, the US won, right? (That’s what Trump says.) And if we haven’t won, why not?

We clearly have superior firepower. We sunk their ships, killed their navy, and depleted their missile capability. So says Trump.

I’ve also wondered why Trump hasn’t used nukes. Now, I know… no sane man would utter those words or think those thoughts.

But we’re talking about Trump here. He is NOT sane. And he’s a sociopath, so nuking a country into oblivion wouldn’t faze him one bit. He didn’t give a shit about raping little girls. He didn’t give a rat’s ass about the US Constitution (insurrection), and he didn’t care about sharing top secret documents with anybody who passed through the restroom at Mara Lago.

Would it bother him at all?

I doubt it.

Second, I just read that the Saudis and UAE have declared war on Iran. When will we start calling this what it is? It’s a WORLD WAR, folks.

AND IF this war does end soon (by ceasefire), what prevents Trump from doing it again in six months or six weeks? And then we start this bullshit all over again.

I don’t see a good way out of this.
