The video was stitched together from two separate clips, with the first clip originally almost three minutes longer than what was made public. The cut occurs right at the infamous “missing minute” that Attorney General Pam Bondi blamed on a “system reset”.
While the second clip picks up exactly at midnight, the trimming suggests that key moments were conveniently left out, fueling suspicion despite official denials.
Released amid heated political tensions, the DOJ doubled down on the suicide ruling and flatly dismissed claims of any “incriminating client list.” But the timing of the release and the video’s heavy editing only added fuel to conspiracy theories, especially from pro-Trump circles accusing a cover-up.
Requests for comment from the DOJ and FBI about the video’s assembly were deflected or ignored, deepening the murkiness around the evidence. Independent video forensics experts confirmed the editing and multiple saves of the files over several hours—hardly the transparent “raw” footage promised.
