RFK Jr. Betrays the Anti-Vaxxers
—And they are not taking it well
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., long a hero of the anti-vax movement, is suddenly persona non grata after daring to acknowledge that measles vaccines actually work.
His recent Fox News Digital op-ed, titled "Measles outbreak is call to action for all of us," has sent conspiracy theorists into a full-blown meltdown, with some comparing him to none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci.
“RFK Jr. is already proving to be a fraud,” raged right-wing influencer Linda Catalina, posting a screenshot of the column to her 35,000 followers.
The backlash is so intense that his spokesman, Tom Corry, has abruptly quit—without offering so much as an explanation.
This about-face comes as a measles outbreak in Texas has now killed the first U.S. child in decades.
Just last week, Kennedy downplayed the outbreak at a Trump cabinet meeting, dismissing concerns as overblown.
Now, he’s writing things like, “Vaccines not only protect individual children from measles, but also contribute to community immunity.”
Cue the collective freakout. The anti-vax faithful, who once championed Kennedy’s MAHA (“Make America Healthy Again” LOL) movement, now see him as a sellout shilling for Big Pharma.
One furious X user fumed, “RFK Jr. is making it impossible for his own supporters to defend him, given that he’s now practically a spokesperson for the vaccine industry.”
Even Candace Owens couldn’t resist piling on, calling Kennedy’s shift “absolutely wild” and threatening to release an episode of her Shot in the Dark series to “educate” parents about the supposed dangers of the MMR vaccine.
It’s a full-scale revolt, and Kennedy is finding out the hard way that once you go anti-vax, there’s no coming back.
