Beatrice Keul traveled from Switzerland to participate in the Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant in November 1993. Jill Harth, who helped recruit contestants, brought her into the event.
At a luncheon at the Plaza Hotel, Trump introduced himself and offered to help her obtain a U.S. visa and admission to New York University. Keul said he repeatedly promised to take care of her. Shortly afterward, Jeffrey Epstein approached, identified himself as Trump’s best friend, and invited her to a Mar-a-Lago party with travel and accommodations covered.
Later that day, Keul said, a Trump representative invited her to Trump’s suite. Believing they would discuss her future, she went upstairs. She alleges Trump forcibly raped her, leaving her injured and bleeding, then urged her to continue participating in the pageant and keep quiet.
Keul returned to Switzerland, declined another Trump-sponsored event, and said Trump later called her with renewed offers of assistance.
Editor: I am publishing these accounts of 11 women who appeared in the House Committee on the Judiciary Staff Report. Where their names are known, I am publishing them. Where they aren’t known, I am not speculating. The point of these stories is that each of these women is a real person with real experiences, real feelings, and a family. They are somebody’s daughter. They deserve to be heard.
