Texas Trump Burger Mogul Faces Deportation After Visa Overstay
The man behind Texas’ MAGA-themed burger empire is facing deportation after ICE says he overstayed his visa.
Ronald Beaini, the Lebanese-born owner of multiple Trump Burger locations in the Houston area, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on May 16.
ICE says Beaini entered the U.S. legally in 2019 but failed to leave in 2024 when his visa expired. He’s now in immigration proceedings—and the agency made it clear that “political beliefs” won’t get anyone a free pass.
His restaurants, dripping with Trump branding, are famous for menu items like the 8-ounce Trump Burger—marketed as “so great, so tremendous, it should have its own skyscraper!” For the truly committed, there’s the Trump Tower: A 16-ounce, double-cheese, double-condiment tribute to excess, served on a “golden” brioche bun.
Beaini even extends the theme to a Melania Trump sandwich and a kids’ menu named after Barron Trump. It’s branding so on-the-nose you half-expect your fries to come in a red hat.
Whether you love the gimmick or loathe it, ICE says the rules apply to everyone. “We enforce immigration laws regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have,” the agency told KHOU.
Translation: Your visa status isn’t protected by the First Amendment… or by the Second Helping.
