‘We Got Him’
Tyler Robinson, son of a cop, turned in by his dad in the Charlie Kirk murder.
A 22-year-old Utah man, Tyler Robinson, is in custody for the murder of Charlie Kirk, and prosecutors say the death penalty is on the table.
Officials say Robinson was arrested late Thursday in southern Utah after a day-and-a-half manhunt; he allegedly confessed to his father—himself a longtime law enforcement officer—who then turned him in.
Utah Gov. Spencer Cox opened Friday “We got him.” You didn’t “get him”—he was turned in to you. You “received him.”
Cox added that Robinson had “become more political” and recently described Kirk as “full of hate” (not wrong), according to what investigators say they learned from the family. Robinson reportedly lived about 260 miles from the Utah Valley University scene and had briefly attended Utah State on scholarship (different institutions).
Shell casings with anti-fascist engravings—including a “Hey Fascists, Catch!” inscription and a reference to “Bella Ciao”—plus Discord messages about retrieving a rifle from a drop point and stashing it in a bush. Photos tied to the family’s social media show Robinson around guns growing up; investigators also flagged shoes that appear to match the suspect seen during the manhunt.

The shooting itself was cold-blooded and precise. Kirk was answering a question at UVU when a single round from roughly 200 yards dropped him; surveillance video later showed a rooftop figure sprinting away. Multiple wrong turns in the search followed—an elderly man detained, then released—before the arrest. A $100,000 reward had been on the table as the manhunt expanded.
Kirk leaves behind a wife and two young children; Trump ordered flags to half-staff.
Some call this an assassination. I’m calling it a murder until we know more. But two things are for sure:
Murdering somebody—anybody—is wrong and needs to be punished to the full extent the law allows. (I am NOT in favor of the death penalty. State-sanctioned murder is still murder.)

He was WRONG. This dude was around guns his whole life. His parents are registered Republicans. He was registered non-affiliated.

Exactly what I was thinking while I watched them all complimenting each other for their good work this morning. Their work produced nothing. And cash pastaroni deserves no atta boy at all. This shit is gonna continue exploding while trumpet keeps blowing his fucking horn and continues to point his nasty ass scratching fingers at us Democrats. It's his words that lead us here & it's his words that are feeding this fire. I've already heard "We Are At War" from the polluted mouths of MAGA.
As far as Robinson goes he's dead one way or another. I was actually surprised when I heard they got him. I just knew he was gonna get ruffed up bad or murdered in the field once they caught up to him.
